Bills Hall of Fame QB Jim Kelly said Tyrod Taylor had a good year in 2015. He also outlined one specific part of quarterbacking that he feels is a crucial next step for Taylor in the future.
Appearing on Bills flagship station WGR Sportsradio 550, Kelly feels recognizing defenses more efficiently will help Taylor reach the next level of quarterback play.
“For Tyrod he has to read defensive coverages quicker,” said Kelly. “I think there were times where he was a little confused with what he was seeing. So with more time on the job and going through it and seeing more he can get a handle each and every snap as to what defenses are throwing at him. But he did well for a guy who in many ways was a rookie.”
Kelly said he believes Taylor has the ability and work ethic to improve and is eager to see what steps he can take to advance his game in 2016.
