Kyle Williams won’t be participating in OTA practices and he won’t be on the field for mandatory minicamp. So what about training camp? Williams said that plan has not been mapped out yet.
“You know I think we’re just going to kind of gradually build on every day through OTAs, even into training camp,” said Williams. “The main goal circled is making sure we’re ready to go in September. How much or how little of training camp? I don’t know. I don’t think that plan has been totally put together yet. But definitely gearing toward getting ready to play when it matters.”
Williams is six months removed from surgery and said he’s getting better. Being an experienced and cerebral player it shouldn’t be an issue for the defensive lineman missing as much time as he is.
“Doing more and more every day,” he said. “I don’t foresee any problems. I’ll be ready to go.”
