Bills first-round pick Shaq Lawson, who signed his rookie contract Monday, is in the early stages of rehab from shoulder surgery. And he already is not a fan of being sidelined.
“I miss it a lot,” Lawson told Buffalobills.com of not being on the practice field. “I think about it every moment. I miss being out there with those guys and getting better every day. It’s driving me to make my rehab much stronger and get better and get back out there as soon as possible.”
As for how his rehab is progressing, Lawson is encouraged.
“It’s going great,” he said. “I’m just taking it a day at a time—rehabbing. Our staff, the great training staff, they’ve got me doing great rehab on everything.”
