If you ever happen to be attending a barbecue at Tyrod Taylor’s house and you’re craving some ribs or a hamburger, don’t hold your breath.
Taylor in an interview with Akbar Gbaja-Biamila on NFL Network revealed that beef and pork are not part of his diet. His main protein sources are chicken and fish.
“I don’t eat beef or pork,” Taylor said. “I stopped around the end of my junior year in high school. I tried it for a month and then a month turned into two months and then three months and I haven’t had any since then.”
Taylor does eat burgers, just not the kind you’re probably thinking about.
“I’ve had a turkey burger,” said Taylor.
Buffalo’s quarterback believes lean protein (chicken, fish, turkey) works best for him.
