The Bills had just a few players unable to practice Thursday. One of them was third-string QB Cardale Jones, whose sore throwing shoulder has stretched into a second week.
Jones didn’t throw for a week between the second and fourth preseason games. He played in the preseason finale, but the shoulder soreness returned. Head coach Rex Ryan however, sees it at a pain issue not an injury issue.
“There’s a difference between pain and injury,” said Ryan. “We believe it’s a pain thing, not a full blown injury or we’d be treating him a lot different.”
