No one needs to tell Bills offensive coordinator Greg Roman that a lot of things need to be better on his side of the ball. Protection, blocking, ball location, reads, play call delivery, execution. It all has to improve in Week 2 Thursday night against the Jets. Roman believes their play will be better.
“We looked at it, evaluated it,” said Roman of their game last Sunday. “I told the players, the way I look at it, it all starts with me. If we all look at it like that, we’re going to be able to get done what we need to get done. I’ve got to do a better job, it’s that simple. Collectively, we’ll do a better job.”
When it came to lessons learned in Week 1, Tyrod Taylor said it was simple.
“We’ve got to take advantage of every opportunity that’s given. There are only a certain amount of plays in every game and that game boiled down to about four or five plays that if we could’ve been better on it would’ve changed the game.”
