McCoy a finalist for FedEx Ground Player of Wk

The NFL announced that LeSean McCoy is a finalist for this week’s FedEx Ground  Player of the Week award for his outstanding performance against the  Arizona Cardinals with 110 yards on 17 carries (6.5 average) and two touchdowns . This is McCoy’s first nomination this season. Information on how you can vote for McCoy is below. Here’s who he is up against for top Week 3 performances.

Christine Michael of the Seattle Seahawks rushed for 106 yards on 20 carries (5.3 avg.) and two TDs in the Seahawks’ 37-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers.

LeGarrette Blount of the New England Patriots rushed for 105 yards on 24 carries (4.4 avg.) and 2 TDs in the Patriots’ 27-0 victory over the Houston Texans.

LeSean McCoy of the Buffalo Bills rushed for 110 yards on 17 carries (6.5 average) and two TDs in the Bills’ 33-18 win over the Arizona Cardinals.


Every week, following the Monday Night Football game, through Thursday at 3 pm ET, fans can vote for their candidate of choice at or tweet using #AirandGround and the nominees’ last name to cast their vote. FedEx and the NFL will announce the winners every Thursday afternoon and then FedEx will award a $2,000 donation in the winning players’ names to The USO.
