Bills RB LeSean McCoy is up for FedEx Ground Player of the Week again after his 140-yard, three touchdown day against the 49ers. But he’s got stiff competition this week, including a Dolphins running back who went off last Sunday.
This is McCoy’s third nomination this season. Here’s a look at his competition.
- Jay Ajayi of the Miami Dolphins rushed for 204 yards on 25 carries and two TDs in a 30-15 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- LeSean McCoy of the Buffalo Bills rushed for 140 yards on 19 carries and three TDs in a 45-16 win over the San Francisco 49ers
- David Johnson of the Arizona Cardinals rushed for 111 yards on 22 carries and three TDs in a 28-3 win over the New York Jets.
Every week, following the Monday Night Football game, through Thursday at 3 pm ET, fans can visit NFL.com/FedEx or tweet using #AirandGround and the nominees’ last name to cast their vote. FedEx and the NFL will announce the winners every Thursday afternoon and then FedEx will award a $2,000 donation in the winning players’ names to The USO.
