He’s had to wait an extra six months to work with teammates and begin his NFL career. Today he’ll hit the practice field with the Bills for the first time since his shoulder surgery. Over the past six months he has been in player meetings so he’s up to date on the scheme. According to the vets on the defensive side of the ball, he’s about as eager as a rookie could be to play again.
“For sure. I just see him when he’s in there getting treatment he’s always asking us questions. He tells me he’s watching the game and how excited he is. So when you hear that and that he’s paying attention and watching us on TV and everything he’s seeing and how exciting the defense looks. When you hear that you know he’s really anxious and that’s cool. He’s young and eager to join us.”
