One of Buffalo’s undrafted rookie signings appears on the ProFootballFocus rankings list for a couple of their key advanced metrics.
In their pass blocking efficiency category running back, and UB product, Jordan Johnson ranked 48th in pass blocking efficiency among all college running backs. It was just two spots behind Dalvin Cook, a second-round pick of the Vikings.
On 125 pass blocking snaps, Johnson gave up just two sacks and a QB hit for a rating of 92.4.
He also ranked 54th among all college backs in elusive rating. He forced 27 missed tackles rushing and two missed tackles receiving in 2016 for an elusive rating of 37.7.
Considering 30 running backs were drafted, Johnson’s numbers do not appear that far off.
