The Bills may have been outscored 134-101 in the first half this season, but if there’s one thing they’ve been able to hang their hat on in the first half of games this year it’s the run game. Buffalo’s rushing attack has quietly climbed into familiar territory and is now sixth in the league. If they can continue their strong run game production in the first half today, they could put themselves in good position for a victory.
That’s because Buffalo’s rushing attack has been one of the best in the league in the first half this season. The Bills currently rank second in the league in yards per carry in the first half. The offense is averaging just over five yards per carry in the first half (5.03) with 940 yards on 187 carries.
Only New Orleans has been better (5.34). Miami ranks 15th in run defense and 11th in first-half run defense allowing just over 51 rushing yards in the first half of their games this season.
