Dolphins claim Trae Elston off waivers

The Dolphins were short at safety this week and claimed a player released by the Bills on Thursday. 

Miami claimed S Trae Elston off waivers Friday. He was released by Buffalo on Thursday to make room on the roster for veteran special teamer Colt Anderson. 

The Dolphins subsequently put S Michael Thomas on injured reserve.
