Ending the half with a 9-0 lead, Pittsford extended the score to 16-0 in the fourth quarter. Junior quarterback Matt LaRocca and senior running back Ali Brooks led the way on offense, while senior Sky Crain, who recorded two sacks, put in work on defense. Season Ticket Member of the Game- Rick Schmitz

Posted by Megan Zenger on September 11, 2017 – 11:50 am

schmitz

“Longtime Bills fan” doesn’t even begin to describe Rick Schmitz. In 1965, Schmitz attended his first Bills game with his father and has missed very few games since. As a dedicated Bills Season Ticket Member, Schmitz has passionately cheered on the Bills for over five decades and like many others, has passed the tradition on to his family. When Schmitz makes his way to New Era Field on game day, his son now accompanies him.

Throughout the years, Schmitz has watched hundreds of players run on and off the field. Whether he is reminiscing about meeting some of his all-time favorite Bills players like RB Cookie Gilchrist, DE Bruce Smith and QB Jim Kelly, or fondly remembering some of his favorite games, he has cherished his memories as a Bills fan. These days, Schmitz and his son enjoy cheering on C Eric Wood and DT Kyle Williams.

For years, Schmitz has devoted every Sunday to watching his favorite team play. “I am the first one in and the last one out,” said Schmitz.

While Schmitz appreciates all the Bills Season Ticket Member benefits, if he had to pick his favorite it would be a tie between the Bills Bucks Card, which he uses at each game, and his Account Representative, who he considers a friend.

Congratulations, Rick!

The Buffalo Bills would like to thank Rick for his many years of being a dedicated Bills Season Ticket Member and our Season Ticket Member of the Game. In addition to Rick being selected as a Season Ticket Member of the Game, he received two pregame on-field passes to the Jets versus Bills game on Sept. 10,  a club seat upgrade, an autographed item and select 2017 Bills merchandise.

Bills Season Ticket Member Fantasy Football winner enjoys VIP experience

Posted by Megan Zenger on August 25, 2017 – 10:49 am

fantasy

Even with years of fantasy football experience, Randy Barnard could never have predicted that he would win the Buffalo Bills Season Ticket Member Fantasy Football League. As a Bills Season Ticket Member, Barnard is eligible to participate in the league for a chance to win a variety of fun Bills prizes. This year’s grand prize was a VIP experience at Bills Training Camp, presented by Connors & Ferris.

A Syracuse native, Barnard first caught Bills fever in high school when he would spend his Sundays watching Bills games on television. His fandom has since evolved and he now watches games from the comfort of his seats at New Era Field. Each game day, Barnard wakes up bright and early to begin the two-hour commute to Orchard Park, picking up friends along the way. Though game days are always fun for Barnard, the experience is much more thrilling due to his involvement in the Bills Season Ticket Member Fantasy Football League.

Each week, he watched and cheered for the Bills and the specific players he chose for his fantasy team – in hopes of winning the prize. It wasn’t until about mid-way through the season last year that Barnard realized he had a chance at winning the whole league.

“I didn’t expect this,” stated Barnard, still in awe that he had won.

As the grand prize winner, Barnard had the opportunity to see the Buffalo Bills up close and personal. As he stood field side at Bills Training Camp, presented by Connors & Ferris, he watched fellow University of Pittsburgh alumni RB LeSean McCoy and QB Nathan Peterman, pass, catch and race across the field. Barnard left Rochester excited for the upcoming season, and already strategizing for his new fantasy team.

Are you a Season Ticket Member looking to join the Bills Season Ticket Member Fantasy Football League? Be on the lookout for an email invitation or contact your Bills Account Representative!

Season Ticket Member of the Game – Kevin Hicks

Posted by Kelly Baker on August 21, 2017 – 4:14 pm

The year is 1991 and the Buffalo Bills are taking on the Los Angeles Raiders for the AFC Championship title. It’s January in Buffalo, so needless to say, the air is cold and the wind is strong, but even the 29-degree wind chill could not keep die hard Bills fan Kevin Hicks from the game.

Unfazed by the cold, Hicks sat in section 335 and witnessed franchise history, as the Bills beat the Raiders 51-3 sending the team to Super Bowl XXV. When reminiscing about the game, Hicks can’t help but recall his all-time favorite player, quarterback Jim Kelly.

These days, Hicks, who is a Buffalo native, proudly attends games to cheer on the team and to see his current favorite player in action, center Eric Wood. Even though Hicks has been a Bills Season Ticket Member for years, he continues to enjoy each game as if it were his first. One of Hicks’ favorite parts of game day at New Era Field is the tailgate. He also looks forward to the pregame ceremony. “There’s always something new every week,” said Hicks.

As a loyal Bills fan, Hicks and some of his friends from college reunite each Sunday in Tonawanda to ride a red, white, and blue Bills themed bus, that they purchased and decorated themselves, to New Era Field. For Hicks, Bills games give him a chance to reunite with old friends and even start new traditions with his family members. Hicks explains he uses his Bills Bucks card to treat his nephew to gear at The Bills Store.

Whether it be riding in style to a tailgate, the ever-changing pregame ceremonies, or just being able to enjoy the company of friends and family, Hicks’ dedication to the Buffalo Bills does not go unnoticed.

Congratulations, Kevin!

The Buffalo Bills would like to thank Kevin for his many years of being a dedicated Bills Season Ticket Member and our Season Ticket Member of the Game. In addition to Kevin being selected as a Season Ticket Member of the Game, he received two pregame on-field passes to the Vikings versus Bills game on Aug. 10, a club seat upgrade, an autographed item and select 2017 Bills merchandise.
