How windy is it?
Posted by on December 28, 2008 – 4:30 pmIts so windy that Bills play by play man John Murphy while doing a live segment with NFL Network on the field literally had his glasses blown off his head.
One of the lenses from the glasses were blown away. Fortunately Murph has his contact lenses so all will be well concerning the radio call of the game.

Be careful coming to stadium
Posted by on December 28, 2008 – 2:51 pmThe high winds in WNY are affecting roads and lot safety at One Bills Drive today.
Here are the confirmed road traffic issues thus far this morning. Boston State Road at the 219 is closed. Traffic signals at 5 corners are on flash with police directing traffic.
A portion of the Bills fieldhouse roof blew off with a powerful wind gust at about 8:30 this morning.
So the Gameday Experience in the fieldhouse is canceled. There is no fieldhouse access today due to safety concerns.
If you’re tailgating be mindful of flying debris in the high winds. Rocks and porta-johns are flying and sliding across the lots.
The uprights inside the stadium are tilting at 15 degree angles at each end of the field.
We’ll keep you updated as best we can.
