WR Allen will miss Cal pro day
Posted by on March 7, 2013 – 4:49 pmConsidered a mid-first round pick and the number two wide receiver prospect in the draft, Cal’s Keenan Allen will be sitting out Cal’s pro day next week.
That according to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt, who said Allen’s knee injury, which kept him from participating at the NFL Combine, will also force him to sit next week in Berkeley.
Cal’s pro day is week from today, but WR Keenan Allen won’t participate. Still recovering from knee injury. Will have ind. WO 4/9 at Cal.

Allen is widely forecast to come off the board soon after Tennessee WR Cordarrelle Patterson in round one come late April.

USC pro day to be pushed back for Barkley
Posted by on January 31, 2013 – 11:11 amUSC is reportedly moving their team pro day back to give QB Matt Barkley extra time to get healed up from a sprained shoulder.
That according to Draft Insiders Tony Pauline.
Am told USC pushing their pro-day back 2+ weeks to give Matt Barkley more time to recuperate…more tomorrow..

Most injured players that are rehabbing and can’t participate in their college pro day set up their own pro day, but USC is likely pushing their date back knowing their receivers are going to want Barkley throwing to them.
