Eagles defensive front thin
Posted by on October 3, 2011 – 11:33 amWith pass rusher Trent Cole (calf strain) not looking good for this week and rotational DT Antonio Dixon (torn triceps) now likely done for the season, the Eagles are hoping they get a couple of defensive ends back practicing this week.
Head coach Andy Reid said Monday that he’s hopeful DE Darryl Tapp (Cole’s backup) can return to practice this week as well as DE Juqua Parker.
Philadelphia still does have DE Jason Babin healthy. He leads the team with seven sacks after posting a career-high three Sunday in the loss to the 49ers.
