Bills Hall of Fame WR James Lofton will be broadcasting from the sideline Sunday at the Super Bowl between the Broncos and Seahawks. He was also part of the last Super Bowl since this year’s matchup which pit the number one scoring offense against the number one scoring defense as profiled on Buffalobills.com today. Lofton recently ran into one of his adversaries from that game in fellow Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor and quickly got LT to change his pick on who he believes will win on Super Bowl Sunday.
“Last weekend I was in Houston at an event with Lawrence Taylor so LT and I talked and I asked him, ‘Who do you like in the Super Bowl?’ He said, ‘I like Denver,’” said Lofton. “So I said to him, ‘You know this is the first time that the number one scoring offense is going up against the number one scoring defense since we played.’ And he said, ‘Oh I meant I like Seattle.’ I thought it was kind of funny that he flip flopped that quickly.”
Obviously Taylor quickly sided with the team that resembled his own Super Bowl title team from 1990 in their one-point win over Buffalo.
