It’s an abbreviated edition of The John Murphy Show Friday night, with live coverage of the Cotton Bowl coming up at 8pm.
But before that, we’ll update the Bills coaching search headed into the weekend.
And we’ll also talk about one of the reported candidates for the Buffalo job–Oregon head Coach Chip Kelly.
Sportswriter Michael Sokolove wrote an in-depth profile of Kelly and his offensive philosophy for The New York Times a year or two ago. He calls Kelly’s approach “Speed-Freak Football,” and he details his approach and his unusual practice regimen.
We’ll talk with Sokolove tonight on the radio show at 720pm about Kelly and ask whether his approach might work in the NFL.
As always, there will be plenty of time for phone calls from listeners.
The John Murphy Show airs weeknights from 7-9pm on the flagship station of the Bills, WGR Sports Radio 550.
