RB Rice limited again Thursday

Posted by Chris Brown on September 26, 2013 – 4:35 pm

The Baltimore Ravens believe they’ll have RB Ray Rice back in the lineup Sunday against the Bills after he missed last week’s game with a hip flexor injury. On Thursday however, he was just a limited participant. There were a few other key players that were limited for the Ravens too.

Practicing on a limited basis along with Rice, were DT Chris Canty (thigh), LB Arthur Brown (chest), WR Deonte Thompson (foot), DT Brandon Williams (toe).

According to the team’s official twitter account, WR Marlon Brown (neck) returned to practice and was a full participant.

5 Ravens starters nicked

Posted by Chris Brown on October 20, 2010 – 3:58 pm

Five Ravens starters are nicked up coming into this week’s game with the Bills.

Not practicing for Baltimore Wednesday were TE Todd Heap (neck) and FS Tim Zbikowski (foot).

Limited in practice Wednesday were OLB Jarret Johnson (back), RB Ray Rice (ankle) and WR Derrick Mason (ankle/finger).

More will be known about the limited players following Thursday’s practice, but there are plans by the Ravens to make better use of Willis McGahee to lighten Rice’s load after McGahee did not play at all in last week’s loss to New England.

“He has to be a big part of what we’re doing for the rest of the season,” said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh. “I’m a little disappointed we didn’t get him in (last week). That’s my fault. I took responsibility for that. He should have played more against New England. He’s going to play against Buffalo and he’s going to play down the road as we go.”
