Bills Pro Bowl center Eric Wood, who was named to the Pro Bowl roster officially on Monday as a replacement for Carolina C Ryan Kalil, talked about the parts of the offense that he felt helped his case as a Pro Bowl caliber player this season. He also shared a team goal that the offensive line already has on the docket for 2016.
Finishing tops in the league in rushing and having a quarterback with the seventh-highest passer rating in the NFL were both good reflections on Wood’s play as he saw it.
“Those are good indicators,” said Wood. “I think our film looked a lot better too. Guys that really dove into our film I think as a group we looked a lot better this year. We just look to improve on that going into next year. I think a really cool one would be if we can get LeSean (McCoy) the rushing title. That is definitely an honor. We took a little trip down to Key West to start the offseason and we talked about that a bunch. That’s a goal for us next year.”
