No practice again for Titans LB

Titans starting MLB Barrett Ruud missed practice for a second straight day, making it more and more likely that Colin McCarthy will start in his place Sunday against the Bills.
Ruud, who has a groin injury, is not expected to play this week, which turns things over to rookie Colin McCarthy. McCarthy is coming off a knee injury himself, but practiced fully on Thursday after missing Wednesday’s practice.
C Eugene Amano (hip), TE Jared Cook (concussion), DE Jason Jones (knee), DE Derrick Morgan (ankle) and OT David Stewart (calf) all improved with all of them practicing fully on Thursday except Stewart who was limited.
WR Donnie Avery was added to the injury list Thursday as a limited participant due to a hamstring injury.
