Chargers injury update
Posted by on October 17, 2008 – 2:28 amIt looks like the chances of seeing Chris Chambers for the Chargers is dwindling by the day. The San Diego receiver did not practice again on Thursday due to an ankle injury.
One of his replacments Buster Davis is still dealing with a groin injury and hasn’t practiced this week either.
So it appears that Malcolm Floyd will again be called upon like last week when he had over 70 yards receiving and a TD.
Shawne Merriman’s replacement LB Jyles Tucker did not practice again Thursday (hamstring), but his backup LB Marques Harris was able to practice fully despite a hamstring injury of his own.
L.T. practiced Thursday after sitting out Wednesday to rest his ailing turf toe. His backup and return specialist Darren Sproles (ankle) practiced Thursday, but on a limited basis. FB Mike Tolbert (ankle) was also limited.
