Bills head coach Dick Jauron confirmed on Wednesday that Aaron Schobel is seeing a foot specialist for his undisclosed foot injury suffered way back in Week 4.
With little improvement made over the past five weeks the team is seeking an expert opinion on the prognosis for the injury and recovery.
“I don’t know if it’s more or less serious than we thought,” said Jauron. “He is getting a consultation with somebody that has seen a lot of these foot sprains so we should know a lot more about it as we move through this week.”
When asked if he thinks Schobel’s injury could be season ending, Jauron admitted there is concern that possibility might exist.
“I haven’t heard that, but there’s always concern when somebody doesn’t play for ‘x’ number of weeks when they have an injury, so I’ll leave it at that,” Jauron said.
