Leodis McKelvin’s 98-yard kick return for a touchdown Monday night was obviously his first career TD.
Only problem was Leodis in the midst of the celebration forgot to hold onto it.
“I ended up dropping the football and I totally forgot,” said McKelvin. “I thought about it when I got to the sideline and I went to Woody and asked him to grab the football.”
Woody is Bills assistant equipment manager Randy “Woody” Ribbeck, and he was able to retrieve it from the officials.
“He got it for me and he’s going to dress it up nice,” said McKelvin. “So I’ve got it.”
