Lynch thinks team got “comfortable” after 4-0 start

Once Marshawn was a few questions into his press conference I wanted to get his take on the turn the season has taken from 5-1 in Week 6 to now. Lynch was very candid in his assessment of what he felt went wrong with the team.

“Well it’s a long season, a lot of ups and downs,” he said. “We started out real strong and I feel we probably got a little comfortable and lax and weren’t capitalizing like we were earlier in the season. That’s point blank.”

I’m not going to put words in Lynch’s mouth, but it would see as he sees it the successful start apparently led to Buffalo dropping their guard a bit through the middle of the schedule and they paid for it.

Head coach Dick Jauron calls Marshawn “refreshing” because he has such a passion and selflessness about the game. But he’s also refreshing because he tells it like it is.
