I’ve been on the Everette Brown train for a while now, and though mock drafts are worth about the same as a paper napkin when it comes to predicting what will actually happen on April 25th and 26th, I have to admit that it’s nice to see the so called experts recognizing Buffalo’s need for a pass rusher.
Even better the mock draft of Charles Davis (NFL Network) and Pat Kirwan (NFL.com) have the Bills taking FSU DE Everette Brown with the 11th pick. Again, not saying it carries much weight, but at least these national guys have come to see the importance of a more potent pass rush for Buffalo.
Brown is undersized for end, but I just think he’s a special breed. And after defensive coordinator Perry Fewell stated that a top pick doesn’t necessarily have to be an every down player, it left me thinking that Brown could be a legitimate possibility at 11. And it’s hard to ignore his production.
Of course if the guy doesn’t pan out I’ll never hear the end of it. But how can I go against a guy with a last name like Brown!
