Looks like the Bills will be seeing their former teammate twice a year for the next little while as safety Jim Leonhard has agreed to terms with the Jets. That according to FOXSports.com.
No word on terms, but the signing is anything but surprising as Jets head coach Rex Ryan loved the play he got out of Leonhard last season and in the playoffs when Dawan Landry was lost for the season due to injury.
It’ll be interesting to see where he fits at safety with Kerry Rhodes the entrenched starter at SS. In all likelihood it’ll be free safety. I also wonder if he’ll takes punt return duties away from Leon Washington, who returned both kicks and punts for the Jets last year.
