Bills fans can stand up and be proud as their contributions to the ‘My Bills, My Story’ ad campaign in 2008 helped advertising firm Martino Flynn earn one of eight ADDY awards last weekend in Rochester.
Martino Flynn’s ad campaign for the Bills won in the category of Return on Investment to “honor work that showed solid and strong creative work that also delivered strong results”.
The initiative was instrumental in helping the Bills sell out all their home games and boost their season ticket base to over 56,000 (2nd highest all-time).
“With regard to the award, let me just say that we are extremely proud to be recognized for a campaign that not only had a high level of creativity, but effectively contributed to gaining results,” said Executive Creative Director Tim Downs. “At the end of the day, our success is only measured by our clients success.”
“This year’s campaign far exceeded our goals,” said Bills Senior VP of Marketing Marc Honan. “I think fully integrating our traditional and online advertising efforts made the difference.”
As well as the 260 Bills fans who submitted their best Bills stories. Well done Bills Nation!
