After not working out at the NFL combine last month due to an ankle injury, Cal C Alex Mack did not disappoint in his pro day workout.
Mack ran a 5.17 and a 5.23 according to NFL.com’s Gil Brandt and had an impressive 7.31 time in the three cone drill. He also had a 28 1/2 inch vertical and got 20 reps on the bench.
Some of those times would have been among the best at the combine for offensive linemen, so Mack’s status as one of the top centers held steady at the very least.
