The Bills did a good job of addressing some of their primary needs with their first two picks getting Maybin and Wood. I think Wood is the odds on favorite to step right in at left guard as a rookie.
Maybin I think at the very least will be a situational pass rusher that will deliver sacks.
As for round two, I was surprised to see defensive back targeted, but Buffalo does need more takeaways and Byrd had 17 in college. I think he’s a safety, nickel corner prospect.
Trading up for Levitre was also a surprise. The Bills say they’re open to trying him at tackle since that’s where he played the past two seasons, but at 6’2″ and with 32 3/4 inch arms it’ll be interesting to see how he handles himself at this level.
