With the market not even lukewarm for free agent QB J.P. Losman, there’s one destination that may just be looking for another veteran arm.
The Detroit Lions are reportedly still interested in adding a veteran quarterback… as a number three. Lions GM Martin Mayhew told the Oakland Press’ Dave Birkett that he’s “actively looking” for to add another veteran signal caller to the mix.
Now Losman, who has started 33 games in his career, may choose to wait for a backup position to open up. However, with Daunte Culpepper and a wet behind the ears rookie in Matt Stafford on the roster, the third QB role in Detroit might be the most likely to potentially see playing time.
