For those that didn’t hear about it, Terrell Owens practically got a hero’s welcome at the Buffalo airport last night when he arrived on a delayed flight around midnight. A horde of Bills fans were on hand decked out in Owens’ gear. Fans chanting T.O., the Jills were there too. After his first OTA practice today, Owens said the enlarged media contingent at practice was nothing big, having seen bigger groups in Dallas and Philly. But when it came to the welcome he received he offered the following.
“Awesome,” said Owens. “It was priceless. I really didn’t expect it. It was the biggest welcome I ever had. Going down the escalator seeing that big crowd of people, it really got me pumped for this year.”
First impressions are everything, and it looks like Bills fans passed with flying colors.
