The local WNY winner of the 97 Rock Terrell Owens football camp contest was a 13-year old quarterback that got to travel down to suburban Dallas to spend a couple of days with T.O. and Donte Whitner among other NFL players.
His name was Jacob Bow. He is an honor roll student at North Park Middle School, in Lockport and the starting quarterback for their football team. Bow was made a candidate by his coaches as 97 Rock held a call-in nomination on Norton in the Morning, just days before the camp, where coaches or parents called in to stump for their candidate.
Bow was chosen out of more than 2,000 entries. Here’s a shot of Bow with both Owens and Whitner at the camp. Photo courtesy of Greg Hamilton.
