Last week James Hardy was running routes at about three-quarter speed on the side with a trainer after his teammates finished practiced and he was catching passes as well. Terrell Owens, who has been a mentor of sorts for Hardy through the course of training camp made sure to watch him.
Owens observed Hardy’s route running work and technique for the whole 15 minutes. When it was over, Owens told him he was pretty good. And the two continued talking as they made their way to the locker room. It’s evident that Hardy puts a lot of stock in what Owens tells him and Owens has been very generous with his time with the second-year wideout.
