Aaron Maybin did not leave the practice field empty-handed after his first full day of work with his teammates.
The Bills top pick had veteran defensive tackle Marcus Stroud’s pads and helmet in tow, which is common practice. Veterans typically hand their pads and helmet to a rookie to bring back to the locker room. Maybin took it in stride.
“I’ve got Marcus’ pads over here,” Maybin said smiling. “He told me he had been waiting all training camp for that so it’s all good. You take your licks for being a rookie and that’s fine. I have no problems with that.”
