The Bills’ regular season opener is two weeks away, but the offense has already started to work against their scout team, which is giving them Patriots’ defensive looks.
“It was nice to go against the scout team and get some looks that we’re going to get in a game, and I’m anxious and excited for that game,” said Trent Edwards. “We did some of that today and we’ll do some again tomorrow, I believe. But again we’re not overlooking the Lions right now. We obviously need to get a lot of work done Thursday night, and obviously need to be ready to go against the Patriots, too.”
Buffalo’s offense had seen 3-4 looks daily through camp and the preseason in the walk thru portions of practice, but now they’re seeing more “live” playing speed looks in practice leading up to the opener at New England. The Patriots primarily play 3-4, but have also shown 4-3 looks in the past against Buffalo.
