Jauron: preseason finale will carry weight in roster decisions

Even though outside observers see Buffalo’s preseason finale as a throwaway game, Buffalo’s coaches will be dissecting the game tape as they make their final roster decisions this weekend.

“Yes, specifically at certain spots a lot of your decisions are made and they’re not real difficult,” said Jauron. “But a number of them are difficult .We told them like we told you, they’re competing. If they’re not competing for us specifically, they’re competing for a job in the league. I thought there was some good hitting out there. I thought there were some guys playing hard because they took it to heart. They know what they were auditioning for and trying to get in. This is a great business to be in and they want to be a part of it.”
