Marcus Buggs got his first career start at middle linebacker Sunday and the man he replaced commented on how Buggs fared in his first defensive action.
“I thought he did a really good job of getting everything situated and getting guys lined up,” said Posluszny. “And Keith Ellison coming in and playing the nickel ‘mike’ spot, his reps are up and he’s making a lot of plays getting to the football. Our whole linebacking corps played really, really well. It was great to see them out there making plays for our team.”
Buggs finished the game with six tackles including a tackle for loss.
