For all the flack that Terrell Owens has taken in the local and national media this week for his postgame press conference in which he chose not to say much of anything in the way of an opinion, two former NFL head coaches, one of which was his former head coach in San Francisco had a different view on how Owens handled the situation.
People can say what they want, but Owens probably played the best hand he could after that game. His celebrity status is such that he was in a no win situation. No matter what side of the fence you’re on concerning T.O. his neutral approach was the safest play.
