It appears to be just a rumor at this point, but Chiefs LB Derrick Johnson isn’t getting much playing time in Kansas City.
According to the National Football Post he could be available in a trade. The former first-round pick (15th overall in 2005) turns 27 next month, but has just four tackles this season due to lack of playing time.
The Bills aren’t exactly in a good position leverage-wise to make a trade in light of the desperate situation in which they find themselves, but Johnson (6’3″ 242) could be a big plug to fill a big hole for the right offer.
