Silent count?

With a hostile road environment expected here at Giants Stadium today for the Bills I’m expecting to see a common tactic used by the Bills offense today to combat the crowd noise.

I think we’ll see a good deal of silent count today to help keep the offensive line, which will include three rookies today (Wood, Levitre, Meredith), in sync.

Going on the first sound is something I wouldn’t be surprised to see a good deal of the time either. Granted you have to mix it up, but on important third downs and short yardage, first sound and silent count is probably the best way to go to improve on the problems that cropped up last week. We’ll see.
