To say it’s been a long 10 months would be an understatement for James Hardy. That’s why his first day on the practice field with his teammates was something he had trouble putting into words.
“I sort of forgot what it felt like to be out there with 10 other guys,” said Hardy after Wednesday’s practice. “I just can’t even explain the feeling that it was to be out there and be part of something again. I sort of felt like an outcast these past 10 months, but now the process is over and I just want to ease myself back in and get ready to go.”
It was clear that Hardy was very grateful to be back on the field again after working so hard to get back.
Hardy is still on Reserve/PUP as the team has three weeks to evaluate him in the practice setting before deciding whether or not to add him to the active roster. Hardy moved well during individual drills when he was running his routes.
