The Atlanta Falcons were happy to have feature back Michael Turner back in their lineup this past Sunday against the Jets. Only problem was their lead back served only in a cameo role before exiting the game against the Jets.
Turner aggravated the high ankle sprain from which he’s been trying to recover. He made just one carry for seven yards. It widely believed that Turner has no chance of playing Sunday against the Bills as the Falcons will likely hold out hope that they can qualify for the NFC playoffs without him and allow him to get healthy for the postseason. Atlanta is a supreme long shot with two games to play.
