Edwards likely out for season
Posted by on December 23, 2009 – 3:42 pmBills interim head coach Perry Fewell does not expect Trent Edwards to be healthy enough to be available for the Bills final two games this season.
When asked if he thought Edwards would be healthy enough to be an option in the Bills’ last two games he had a quick response.
“No, I do not,” said Fewell.
Fewell stated that Edwards is out for this week’s game, which is why Gibran Hamdan was signed on Tuesday.
“I think Trent’s injury is one where he’s not able to push off and protect himself,” said Fewell. “I’m saying he’s out this week. I’ll evaluate it again next week. I don’t think he’ll be able to (be available next week), but I won’t rule out that possibility.”
