Oregon St. QB not impressive
Posted by on December 23, 2009 – 11:39 amOregon St. QB Sean Canfield was a guy that was thought by some draft experts as a senior signal caller that could help his cause in the draft with a good showing in the Las Vegas Bowl Tuesday night. After his performance in windy conditions, I don’t know that I’d have him as a consideration for the Bills.
On a windy night in Las Vegas, Canfield, who doesn’t have a big arm to begin with, struggled big time. He completed just four passes in the first half as the Beavers fell to BYU 44-20. Canfield was 20-41 for 173 yards and an INT.
He still has the postseason games to make a name for himself and help his draft stock, but those blustery conditions were a good indication as to how he might handle a November day in Buffalo and it didn’t go well.
