Playing time for Colts starters
Posted by on December 30, 2009 – 1:11 pmThere have been reports out of Indy that the Colts’ starters would play a quarter or a little more at most on Sunday. Head coach Jim Caldwell didn’t exactly confirm that Wednesday.
In a conference call with the Buffalo media, Caldwell pushed that decision to later in the week.
“That hasn’t been completely determined exactly what’s going to happen in terms of reps and those kinds of things. we kind of determine that later on in the week,” he said.
Caldwell did say that backup QB Curtis Painter will play Sunday at some point.
“There’s no question you’re going to see him,” said Caldwell. “But I’ve not fully determined when that’s going to happen, but you’re going to see him.”
