After careful thought and consideration former Bills interim head coach Perry Fewell has decided to accept the Giants offer to be their defensive coordinator.
That according to NFL.com’s Jason LaCanfora. Fewell had been mulling his options as the Bears also offered him their defensive coordinator post. It was a tough decision for Fewell who has worked under both Tom Coughlin and Lovie Smith in his coaching past.
The Giants however, appear to be the more stable situation, with Lovie Smith’s future uncertain beyond 2010.
This likely removes him as a candidate for the Bills head coaching job.
