CBSSports.com recently had two of their writers post their latest mock drafts and they differ on who they have going to the Bills at pick 9.
One of their draft analysts (Rob Rang) has the Bills taking Rutgers OT Anthony Davis, while their other (Chad Reuter) has Buffalo taking Notre Dame QB Jimmy Clausen.
What interests me more is how they see the picks before Buffalo’s at nine panning out. Most interesting is in Reuter’s mock he has Bulaga going ahead of Davis at six overall to Seattle. The Seahawks, much like the Bills need a guy they can plug in right away and many of the so called experts believe that Bulaga is a more NFL ready player than Davis, who has greater upside.
Meanwhile Rang’s mock has Oklahoma St. OT Russell Okung going as high as I’ve seen in any mock, third overall to Tampa Bay. Reuter has him going fifth to KC.
Both mocks have Bradford going 4th overall to Washington.
