Florida QB Tim Tebow is not throwing at the combine later this week, but he has come a long way in changing the trajectory and arm angle of his throwing motion.
Working with former NFL coaches like CFL head coach Marc Trestman and former Bills QBs coach Sam Wyche, Tebow has revamped his throwing mechanics, which were in need of serious reform.
According to Adam Schefter’s report on Tebow’s progress, he’s now throwing from his shoulder more instead of his waist, as Tebow’s sidearm delivery is gone.
It’s not where they want it to be yet in terms of consistency, but Trestman confirmed the ball is coming out quicker and that Tebow will put his new delivery on display at his pro day.
Tebow will be at the NFL Combine this week for medical testing and interviews, but will not throw.
