Cincy to not pursue T.O.?
Posted by on February 23, 2010 – 9:53 amAccording to Newsday NFL reporter Bob Glauber, the rumors that the Bengals will make a play for Terrell Owens should he hit the free agent market are off the mark.
Glauber on his twitter account posted the following.
BobGlauber: Source familiar with Bengals’ situation tells me there are no plans to sign Terrell Owens. Team also regrets Laveanues Coles signing in ’09.
There was a line of thinking that if Owens was signed by the Bengals during the free agency period that Laveranues Coles would be released. Coles just signed a four-year $28M contract last offseason with Cincinnati, but did not produce the way they anticipated.
